I Think This is Going Pretty Well...

I Think This Is Going Pretty Well... is a hybrid tabletop/live action role play that expresses all of the absurdly awful places that we have ended up eating to avoid crowds in NYC. It takes place a Guy's Mama's Restaurant-- a setting similar to but legally distinct from Guy Fieri's (now closed) Times Square restaurant. 

Players are forced into going about conversation and getting to know another human being while simultaneously trying to hide their flaws on a first date.

As conversation continues, players realize that it is mechanically impossible to keep all of their flaws and vulnerabilities hidden and must make decisions about how to reveal them without completely alienating their date.

We ask players to negotiate their character’s personal disasters, and those of the character they are interacting with all while being hounded by a rather invasive waiter.
